About PIEAS
PIEAS was founded in 1967 as Reactor School in response to increasing manpower demand of PAEC. The institute gained university status in 2000 and its name was changed to “Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS)”. PIEAS has been ranked as No. 1 engineering university of Pakistan in the QS Asian Rankings 2014, 2015 and 2019.

Professor Sang Hyun Park
is organic and medicinal chemist. He got Ph.D. degree from chemistry department, Stevens Institute of Technology, NJ, USA in 1996. Since 2001, he has worked for Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute as a principal investigator. Since 2009, he has also worked for University of Science and Technology as a professor. In recent years, he focused on drug discovery and development and got some important success.
Professor Woosung Choi
is Head of Bio-business Division and Director of Bio-Cluster Strategy & Planning. He got Ph.D. degree in Physiology from University of British Columbia, Canada in 2006. He has also served as Principal Researcher in Laboratory Animal Center, DGMIF, Daegu, South Korea from 2012-2015 and at Laboratory Animal Center, KBIO, Osong, South Korea from 2015-2019.
Jung Young Kim
is Principal Researcher and Chief of External Strategy Team at Department of Applied-Radioisotope Research, Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences (KIRAMS), Seoul, South Korea. He got Ph.D. degree in from Department of Chemistry, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 2011. He has also served as Chief, Cyclotron Team, Department of Nuclear Medicine, Chonnam National University, South Korea.
Jae Yong Choi
is Senior Researcher and Scientist at Korea Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences, Seoul, South Korea. He got Ph.D. degree in Neurosciences from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in 2013. He has numerous publications in the field of Radiochemistry, PET/SPECT, Neurodegenerative diseases, and MRI.

PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Imperial College London, UK. Have interest in the field of Computational Codes in Nuclear Design and Safety.

Assistant Professor
PhD in Nuclear Engineering from KAIST, Korea. Have interest in the field of Nuclear Power Plant Safety, Environmental Engineering.
Dr. Sajid Mushtaq

PhD in Radiation Biotechnology and Applied Radioisotope Science from University of Science and Technology, Daejeon, South Korea. Have interest in the field of Radiation Physics, Nuclear Medicine, Radiochemistry, Radiopharmacy.
Dr. Amjad Farooq
Associate Professor
PhD in Nuclear & Environmental Engineering from PIEAS, Islamabad. Have interest in the field of Filtration of radioactive/toxic air/water, Impregnation of activated carbons, Testing of raw and impregnated activated carbons, Development of standard testing setups for activated carbons.
Dr. Haseeb ur Rehman
Assistant Professor
PhD in Nuclear Engineering from KAIST, Korea. Have interest in the field of Nuclear Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Core Neutronics, Power System Engineering.
