from the eyes welled up, and
staring far into void
Trickle silently down the cheeks
Hovering over the nose for a while
Burying deep in the pillow, and
Joining countless others already there
Muted words of apology
Deplete at my puckered lips
Failing to transcribe the remorse
for hurting you so badly
No matter what my wrongs
You offered only love
I know you still are with me
Your love is within my heart
I crave to fall into invisible arms
