To run QuickTime® or Real Player® on an i386 Linux box you need the CrossOver Plugin from CodeWeavers (http://www.codeweavers.com) The CrossOver Plugin lets you use many Windows plugins directly from your Linux browser. It's based on wine (http://www.codeweavers.com), an implementation of the Windows Win32 and Win16 APIs on top of X and Unix.
